We went to the circus last night. Chris liked it up till the loud stuff started. Then we had to go. We had free tickets and he was young enough for free admission, so it was a pretty good time. I've still got to get used to sweet popcorn. This guy was really good. He was just getting warmed up in this clip.

Sankt Martins Umzug

My first Sankt Martins Umzug. It's a big deal for the kids. We just took a walk up to the park and joined in with all the other families in the neighborhood. All the kids have hand made lanterns. There's a lot of songs and a reenactment. All Stuttgart, and I guess all Germany for that matter, is doing this sort of thing.

20 years after the Fall

OK, The closest picture I can come up with anything to do with the fall of Die Mauer is a picture of Fall in Germany several hundred miles away from Berlin. I sorta wish we could be up there at the Brandenburg Gate tonight.

At the Markthalle. I thought it was an odd place for the sign. They were about to close up. We just bought stuff for dinner.

Fahren mit dem Zug nach Lautental

Leaning Tree at Lautertal

After a couple of hours and a couple of trains, we made it to the Lautental. An 8 hour road trip in all. We had to get out for an annual fall outing. We seem to be getting out at for at least one long day this time of year at the spur of the moment. I think it is to try and see the peak colors, but it is hard to get the timing right. You just have to go and see what happens. The colors were pretty good.

Something to do...

I knew I wasn't going to be putting much up on this blog, but I didn't know it was going to be this slow. So I took a picture out the window. It's getting cold, but cold air always makes better pictures. I need all the help I can get.
